::my dog ate my thermometer::

So I know that totally sounded like the 6th grade excuse, "My dog ate my homework!" but it couldn't be more then the truth. Yesterday, like an idiot, I left my thermometer sitting out because I didnt want to forget to log it into FF. After I entered the temps, I put it back in the same spot. Yeah, well Piper got a hold of it and ate it. It was a nice BD one that I got from my work. I heard cracking and popping and looked over and it was sticking out of her mouth. It was kind of funny at first (because it looked like she was taking her temp) but then I realized that now I have no thermometer! GRRRR! Which was fine because if you remember originally I said I wasn't going to temp this month and I wasn't going to use my monitor. I sold the monitor, but the OCD in me didn't let me stop temping. I am 6 DPO, so I guess it doesn't really matter, but dang, did she have to completely destroy it? She must be my conscience! :)


Yesterday I went to 2 CVS, 1 Target, 1 Longs and 1 Stater Brothers looking for the BD thermometer before I realized I got it at the hospital pharmacy. Which was closed due to the holiday and there was no way in hell I was driving out here anyways. So I bought an el-cheapo from Stater Bros to continue temping (because I am sick like that) and this morning temp was 99.1? What the hell... it is never that high. Then I took my temp with my old one I had in the medicine cabinet and it was 98.13. So I don't know what the heck is going on. I have decided to not temp anymore this cycle and once FP comes, I will buy a new one from the pharmacy.

So I have been scared shitless about my husband's SA. He is super duper DUPER sensitive and has been mopping around for the last 6 months saying that he knows that he is reason why we can't get pregnant. So we had the SA done and I was more scared of his results then my own. I can handle my own crap, but having to help him thru this would be even harder. So anyways, his SA came back incredible. Above average on most things and average on everything else. Volume, pH and viscosity all normal. Total count is what killed me, normal is 40 million, he had 139.2 million. Dude, that is 3 times the normal amount. He should be able to impregnate the entire city of Irvine. :) Motility was 50% and morphology was 17%. So all in all, he is not the problem. He was upset because his motility grade was 2-3 (which I guess mean some of the sperm were moderate swimmers and some were slow), but I tried to explain to him that though that is true, he still had 69.6 mil. motile sperm (and that like to see 20 mil.) So now he calls his sperm the Ghengis Khan of sperm.

So yeah... the internet is evil. I was FREAKED the hell out for no reason. I had read how women have passed out because of the pain, had to take Vicodin, thought it was worse then childbirth. I was sooo scared. But it was so not even a big deal. It was just a tad bit more uncomfortable then a pap smear. But not much more. It was pretty cool actually, I got to see my ute and my tubes. The only thing that was mildly uncomfortable was the fact that my radiologist was like 28 years old. I totally expected some old dude to come in and do the test and this guy comes in and was all, "hey I'm Matt!". I was thinking to myself, what the heck, didn't I see you at the Yardhouse doing shots last weekend? hahaha! He was cool though and did a great job since I didn't have any immense pain, but I have to say that I know I am getting old when the Dr's and Techs seem young to me. :(

But anyways, from the preliminary report the fibroid isn't pressing on anything, nor is it blocking the tubes, which looked to the radiologist as all clear. So in the preliminary report from Matt, everything looked fine. But the Senior Radiologist looked at it and noted that I had a deformed uterus, one which occurs from surgery or fibroid removal. UGH! So now my RE wants to do a Hysteroscopy to take a look in there. Which will have to wait until next cycle because I have to get pre-authorizations and crap from the insurance. But oh well... at least we will see whats going on in there. I was worried about scar tissue getting in the way of implantation and my fear may be dead on. But the RE said that's why they do IVF sometimes on couples. So he can place the embryo in a none scarred up area. I do have faith though, my good girlfriend had the same exact fibroid surgery with the same physicians when I had my fibroids removed (about 2 weeks apart from each other). They started trying to have a baby about 6 months afterwards and had issues. But then got pregnant after she had the HSG and she had crazy scar tissue too. So here's hoping it works out.

Now we still have to do our blood work (ugh gotta go to ghetto Quest Diagnostics again) and then get Baron's SA back. I am still super duper nervous about that. But after I have my hysteroscopy next month, we will be back in business and can decide what to do next. Since I do all my testing at the hospital I work at, I fear that everyone here has seen my neither-regions. My coworkers joked yesterday that they probably dont even know what my face looks likes but could definitely spot me with my pants down, since I have had 2 colonscopies, multiple exams, xrays and crap below the belt. All within the last year or so! hahahaha! Good Times!

So for now I am still charting (BOOOOOO!) but not using monitors and crap this cycle. I am taking it chill, so maybe because its less stressful we might get pregnant without any intervention. RIIIGHHHHTT! :)
